For a good friend of mine I designed the cover and page-numbers of his PHD-thesis. The cover shows in an abstract form his research and thesis results. We wanted to give it an abstract feeling but also make a narrative. I created a pattern where the object slowly turns into little batteries. Each chapter number shows a different step in the process.

Typography use. For the title I used the same typeface that was used for the plain-text: Google Noto Sans and the chapter-numbers are inspired on the shape of this same typeface.
